Jess Bercovici is a self-taught designer with nearly 15 years of international experience in fashion, interiors, and product development. As the founder and creative force behind Stela 9 and later Casa de Stela, she has designed collections for notable retailers including Free People, Anthropologie, Revolve, and Shopbop, in addition to developing private label projects for brands like Airbnb and multiple boutique labels.

Her design journey expanded into hospitality with the creation of Jardín de Stela and Casa de Stela - two meticulously renovated historic properties in Antigua, Guatemala. These boutique BnBs feature custom-designed interiors, including textiles, lighting, furniture, artwork, and landscaping - each element crafted in collaboration with local artisans to create immersive, design-rich spaces.

Now based in Bend, Oregon, Jess runs Casa de Stela, a thoughtfully curated shop located in Downtown Bend. She offers services in custom furniture and decor sourcing, interior design, textile and product design, event installations, and travel consulting. Continuing to blend craftsmanship, culture, and creativity across every project she touches.
